Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an ancient form of co-ordinated body movements practised widely around the world for its health and relaxation benefits.
The forms are made up of around 66 postures which are designed to be supple, fluid, and flexible. Controlled breathing is vital and should coincide with the body movements whilst keeping the body relaxed. The results of regular practice enable you to control your ‘Chi’ – the circulating life energy described in Chinese philosophy and to build strength in your body. This activity is suitable for all ages and people of all abilities.
We are running Tai Chi classes as part of our lottery funded activities as follows:
